April 22nd – Oli’s fiddle

This fiddle belonged to one of the most charasmatic, talented, crazy, creative, tall, talented, amazing, strong, positive people I have ever been blessed with meeting. His name is Oliver Schroer and he was known as the “Worlds tallest free standing fiddler”. He was amazingly talented. He died a year and half ago from a very courageous battle with leukemia. His fiddles are now in the hands of an equally talented, amazing, entertaining, crazy, shorter-than-Oli musician named Jaron. He was in fact Oli’s protege and is doing a fine job of carrying on Olivers legacy.

  1. That is so beautiful, and quite literally made me gasp out loud.
Wow, and wow what a great shot!

  2. Thanks so much Richie. You think it looks good, you should hear it played!
    Violins sing, but fiddles dance!
